Getting started
Flixerpay is a Nigerian creator-marketing marketplace. A brand posts a bounty; creators across Nigeria claim it, make the post or do the task, and get paid in naira once the brand approves. This guide covers the whole flow in about ten minutes.
The one thing to know first: Flixerpay never holds your money. Every payment settles on the Uphiva rail — your wallet, not ours. Flixerpay tallies what is owed and tells Uphiva to pay it. See How you get paid.
Four steps to your first payout
1. Sign in with Uphiva
Flixerpay uses Sign in with Uphiva — no separate password. Your Uphiva wallet is where earnings land, so signing in with it is what lets you get paid without a second setup step.
2. Finish onboarding
Tell us whether you are a creator (you make posts) or a brand (you run campaigns), pick your niches, and add your social handles and rough reach. Reach you type is shown as an unverified claim until a platform confirms it — connect an account and the real number replaces it.
3. Connect your X account (optional, but it pays)
Connecting X means Studio can post as you, rewards land on the account you post from, and your follower count is read straight from X — verified, not typed. Your Flixerpay handle keeps its checked reach instead of a number nobody can stand behind.
4. Claim a campaign, do the work, submit your proof
Browse Discover, read the brief, and claim a slot. Do exactly what the brief asks, then submit your proof — a post link, screenshots, or a short written answer, depending on what the campaign accepts. The brand reviews it, and on approval your bounty is released to your Uphiva wallet.
How to pick campaigns
Claiming campaigns that fit your audience beats claiming everything — matched content gets approved more smoothly.
- Read the brief before you claim. It lists what to post, what to include, how to prove it, and how long it must stay up.
- Check the fit. If your followers would not care, skip it. A post that ignores the brief usually gets sent back.
- Mind the window. A slot is yours for a set number of hours; if you do not submit in time it goes back on the board for someone else.
After you submit
- The brand reviews it against the brief. They can approve, ask for a correction, or reject with a reason.
- On approval, the bounty is released — Flixerpay instructs your Uphiva wallet; the money was ring-fenced when the brand funded the campaign, so approval is the only step between the work and the payout.
- Keep it up. Many campaigns require the post to stay live for a set time. Deleting or hiding it early can reverse the approval.
Where to go next
- How you get paid — the Uphiva rail, the platform fee, and XP.
- The rules — what keeps a campaign payable, and what gets it rejected.
- Programs API — run a referral or loyalty program for your own customers over our API.
Stuck? Everything settles on your Uphiva wallet, so a payment question is usually an Uphiva question. For anything Flixerpay, reach us from the app.
